Player Evaluation Information

Although often referred to as “tryouts”, Player Evaluations are conducted merely to ensure your child ends up in the division that will allow them to excel and most importantly, have fun playing the game of baseball.

Evaluations help the league balance its teams during the subsequent Major and Minor division player draft. Balancing teams in each division of play promotes competitive parity and enhances the overall Little League experience for every child in the league. It is important to note that a child's performance in Player Evaluations never cause players to be excluded from participation in the league. All registered players who attend evaluations will be placed on a team in a division suitable to their skill level.

Players registered in our Tee Ball or Machine Pitch divisions, do NOT need to attend evaluations.

Players in our Minor League/Player Pitch, Major League, Junior League and Senior League divisions are required to attend Player Evaluations. Players in these divisions who do not attend evaluations will be placed on a team, but will be INELIGIBLE for All-Stars.
NOTE: There are no All-Stars tournaments at the Tee Ball and Machine Pitch levels.

Player Evaluation sessions for players registered in our Minor League/Player Pitch and Major League divisions will take place at Starkey Park North, Field #2. Players only need to attend one of the two sessions.  Junior League and Senior League players should NOT attend these evaluation sessions. Junior League and Senior League evaluations will take place at a later date.
